Organizers reported 9,000 attendees, including close to 3,000 buyers, and 2,300 exhibiting companies taking part, making it the largest event industry trade show to take place since the start of the Covid pandemic. IMEX America 2021 reported a total of 8,605 attendees, itbm world 2021 reported 7,000 reported attendees.

The conference, originally scheduled for last November in Glasgow, was canceled because of the pandemic — in May, the decision was made to hold the conference in person in 2021 as originally planned in Glasgow. It’s appropriate that, at one of the world’s most significant global events, the meetings industry would have a voice.
