The arm of national catering business, Amadeus , responsible for the delivery of standalone event catering, has secured its latest contract with Unique Venues Birmingham (UVB). Events by Amadeus has been working with UVB since 2019, and the team have signed a new three-year contract to deliver catering provisions to the organisation.

Central Hall Westminster, part of Central Hall Venues group, has announced it has awarded a new £8m contract to in-house AV production services partner White Light. The company also supported James Corden’s Late Late London shows held at the venue for two years running in 2018 and 2019.

Showsec have renewed their contract with venue management group and the UK’s biggest arena operator, SMG Europe. The renewal will also see Showsec delivering services to the new £333 million conference, exhibition and event venue, TECA , opening in Aberdeen in 2019.

The Open University will also hold its Autumn 2023 Graduation Ceremony at the venue.

Research Finds Sponsorships Are Still Relevant According to a 2019 report from the Center for Exhibition Industry Research ( CEIR ) of 200 show executives and 728 exhibitors, sponsorships make up roughly 20% of B2B tradeshow revenues. Establishing the conference fee, contracting with the venue and locking the dates will require some effort.
