ESTRO met in Madrid in 2021 with the goal of raising awareness in the overall destination of the use of radiotherapy as a way to treat cancer. So if they have a challenge with cancer, they want to host oncology conferences. If they have a challenge with young people being homeless, they want to host conferences about housing.

I manage everything from budgets to site selections to online registration to attendee communications. In that role, I assisted in the planning of our awards ceremony including site selection, logistics and working with the winners. What I do outside of work: I am heavily involved in sports both playing and coaching.

We measured their carbon footprint with Glenn, the 2021 program retrospectively, and gave recommendations for reduction. The Results Maritz developed a graphic that demonstrates the environmental impact, arranged into key reporting categories, of Mastercard’s high-level internal staff meetings in 2021 and 2022.

To forecast the landscape for in-person events in 2021 is to indulge in paradox, perfectly encapsulated in the events of the last several days. I personally don’t see that happening until Q4 of 2021 at the earliest, but the actual timing is less important than understanding what factors are likely to herald their return. Mask Wearing.
