Event experiences should be for all: from event website and landing page to registration process, all the way to the event itself and post-event communication and surveys. But the reality is that most events are, unfortunately, still not fully accessible and inclusive at all touchpoints with the attendees. Here are some considerations you must have to provide accessible event experiences to your audience.
In my experience, most large conferences this year are realizing about 80 percent of their 2019 revenue performance. For some of the major annual meetings we’re tracking, sponsorship revenue has been a bright spot when compared to exhibit revenue performance. The textbook outcome of a successful sponsorship is improved attitudes and behavior for that brand.
Creating and sharing a video library is likely not the first thing event organizers think of when planning their in-person conferences. However, as this HBR article points out, videos “elicit a broad range of motivations”, including sharing passion, starting conversations and seeking opinions. Sounds a lot like what we want our attendees to do at events, doesn’t it?
